The Beginning
PIT Holdings was born from a simple observation: the world was spending billions importing aggregate materials for road construction when the soil beneath our feet could be transformed into something stronger, cheaper, and more sustainable.
In 2012, our founders set out to prove that non-traditional soil stabilization could replace conventional methods entirely. Not as a niche alternative, but as the new standard for infrastructure development globally.

Established in the Kingdom of Eswatini with the audacious goal of transforming global infrastructure development through in-situ soil stabilization.

2012
PIT Holdings Founded
Company established in Eswatini. Initial research into non-traditional soil stabilization compounds begins. First laboratory trials of what would become the Ecobond system.
2014
First Field Trials
Ecobond compounds deployed in controlled field conditions. Results exceed expectations - CBR values surpass traditional aggregate methods at a fraction of the cost.
2015
Ecobond Technology Patented
The proprietary three-component system (EB#2 Resin, EB#3 Activator, EB#4 Bitumen) achieves formal patent protection. Commercial production begins.
2017
Mining Sector Breakthrough
First major mining haul road project completed. Stabilized roads support 100+ ton trucks with dramatically reduced maintenance cycles. Word spreads through the industry.
2018
Division Structure Established
PIT Holdings reorganizes into three divisions: Products, Services, and Projects. This structure enables integrated delivery from compound supply through project completion.
